Well, my name's Erica and I'm 16 and live in a lovely little seaside town called Bournemouth in the south of England.
I love tea, coffee, m and ms, old music, shopping, the beach, london, milkshakes, going to gigs, watching hilarious films with my friends, apple and raspberry juice, my freinds, my family, olives, laughing a lot, inside jokes, comedy, my inner nerd, food, singing loudly and jesus <3
I'm a Christian and I love God, and he's changed me so much i can't even put it into words. Until this summer, i believed, but not with that fire, i had no passion. Things really changed when i went to soul survivor, which is like a massive camp for christians. It was on like, the second day, when the speaker called the holy spirit on people and loads of people around me were screaming and shaking and crying and i was just sat there like "this is bullshit" and then i thought to myself "look, God, if you're real, if you care I'm going to need you to show me, I can't do this by faith anymore," and then i just started shaking ridiculously hard, it was insane, i felt like i'd had about twenty shots of espresso, i also cried for about an hour straight, even though i wasn't remotely sad. It was like God was taking all the negative emotion out of me, as if he was cleansing me. For the evening afterwards, i was extremely happy, nothing could have brought me down - it was the best feeling in the world. Sure, I was scared, but it wasn't negative fear, i'd just been shaken with the reminder that God was right beside me.
I'm generally a very opiniated person and a bit of a dreamer. I guess i'm pretty unusual in the sense that i quite like going to school and i always always try to be open minded and to find the best in everyone. I'm that kind of person that believs in fairies and father christmas and always wishes on shooting stars. I always stand up for what i believe in and i hate all cats apart from my one because he's so beautiful.
